My Grandpa C

When I signed up to run the Bass Pro marathon, they had some foundations come talk to us about running for them.  One of them was the American Cancer Society.  My mom worked for them for many years, and my grandpa has been struggling with cancer for the last couple of years.  Right then and there, I decided I was going to run for them.

When I did sign up, my grandpa's cancer was in remission, but he was still struggling with some of the side effects of the cancer.  Just last week, we found out the cancer is back, and it is really bad.  The surgery is going to be very invasive.  It is on his face.  This has been very hard on him and our family.  Our grandpa is our hero.  You grow up your whole life thinking your parents and grandparents are invinsible.

Please keep my grandpa in your thoughts and prayers.  Our family could use them at this time.  I am running for him and everyone's grandpas, grandmas, moms, dads, brothers, and sisters.

Please consider donating to the American Cancer Society so we can beat this thing and help keep our loved ones around longer.  Click Here

I am so sorry Chris. It seems like SO many people are fighting cancer right now. Your grandpa is in my prayers.
