Self Control...

I have been feeling a lot better, and I have been able to eat for the first time in two weeks. Boy have I been eating!  I have to take a step back and refocus, because I have put some of that weight back on that I lost while being sick.  I knew that some of it was going to be back but not as much as I have gained.  So, I have to refocus and eat healthy and small portions again.

Jenn and I are going on a date this weekend.  We are so excited, and it is a much needed time together.  Since we have started working out and running long on Saturdays, we have asked my parents to watch the kids for us so we can do that together.  So we do not get many chances to go on dates, because we do not want to overstay our welcome with my parents and we really don't have the money to hire babysitters.  But we are going to get a date Saturday, going to see the new Harry Potter and get lunch!  I am PUMPED!

What is your ideal date?  How do you juggle date night with workout times?

I'm totally with you in the battle. I got lax this summer & have gained back a good 7 lbs that I lost in the spring. argh.

Hope you enjoy date night! I've got a "date day" tomorrow too... hubs & I are heading to Chicago (no kids!) to run the Beach Palooza! So fun, we may actually get to have one uninterrupted conversation?!

Any time spent with my husband works for me. I like going out to eat and then going on a walk. :)

Dan and I don't get enough date nights. We were joking last week when I was in the ER (after they gave me the painkiller) that it was like a date. That's pretty sad. My ideal date with Dan is a hike followed by an afternoon reading and chatting at a coffeeshop. We've done this two or three times since our kids were born--not often enough! Have a great date!
